R 320 000 towards the establishment of a skills centre

Iqraa Trust contributed toward the establishment of a skills training centre which provides accredited courses in metal work. computer studies, baking, garment manufacture, motor mechanics, woodwork, domestic house wiring and technical drawing. The institute also provides national examination courses in mechanical and electrical engineering as well as business studies.

The skills development facility serves a very urgent need in the rural area of Braemer near the town of Umzinto, approximately 90 Km from Durban.
