Message from the Chairman of Iqraa Trust

The Iqraa Trust was established in 1994 and has made a major contribution to humanitarian development in South Africa. However, we are only too aware of the many challenges that we still face in trying to uplift the quality of life of all South Africans. We also believe that if we are to make a difference, there is a need for us to work together.

It is with this in mind that we have introduced this e-newsletter which is intended to keep you abreast of developments, not only at Iqraa Trust but also in the humanitarian and welfare fields in general.

On our website, www.iqraatrust.org.za, you will be able to find out more about the activities of Iqraa Trust and our current projects. The website also has some unique features which enables you to access information on some of the important events that are scheduled to take place and also to update yourself on the most recent developments in the humanitarian and welfare fields. Another unique feature is an organisational register which facilitates networking between organisations.

Most importantly we invite you to become involved with the Iqraa Trust as we work toward a better future for all South Africans.

HOSPICE ASSOCIATION OF WITWATERSRAND (SOWETO HOSPICE)
DIEPKLOOF - SOWETO - R 200 000 (IQRAA TRUST CONTRIBUTION)

Iqraa Trust has provided funding of R 200 000 in September 2009 to The Hospice association of Witwatersrand for the Paediatric Care unit of the Soweto Hospice, near Johannesburg.
