It is my pleasure to welcome you to our first National Conference which aims at improving the performance of all humanitarian organisations in South Africa in general and the Muslim organisations in particular through exchanging experience of best practice and corporate governance.
The conference aims also at promoting partnership and co – ordination between NGO’s and between NGO’s and relevant government departments.
I do hope that by the end of the Conference we will be able to identify a few key humanitarian projects that we can achieve together to translate all the objectives of the Conference into practical reality.
I pray to Almighty to make our Conference a success and enable all of us to achieve its goals. In the meantime I wish you all an enjoyable stay in Durban.
